Relocated in USA in 2002.Ms. Berhane has been the Administrative Assistant, at the African American Health Coalition, Inc., (AAHC) since November 2014. She is a hard-working, faithful, dedicated employee, with a deep appreciation of how the AAHC continually creates opportunities, to the improve the health status and quality of life for the African American Community living in the Portland Metropolitan Statistical Area.Ms. Berhane brings to the AAHC, a wealth of skills and experience including; accounting knowledge, gained as an Custom Duty & Port due (tariff) Assessor, supervision skills obtained while working at the Ethiopia Standard Parking Seattle, WA, management skills used during her tenure at Keangnam Enterprise Ltd. (Daewoo) where she served as the Project Promotional Manager, located in east Africa Branch, Ethiopia, and she obtained various additional skills while employed at the Maritime and Transit Corporation.Additionally, Ms. Berhane attended Unity College School of Business & Administration, in Ethiopia. Completing her degree is one of her many goals. Her other interest includes: travel, gardening and reading.Over the years she has consistently supported all of the programs and activities of the African American Health Coalition, Inc.-without fail. Ms. Berhane is very passionate about assisting others, and she is ALWAYS eager to help.
